Newton Dee Camphill Community will join the Aberdeen KiltWalk on 7 June 2026
Our new Bakery and Confectionary building is progressing well. We need to raise funds for our development fund to complete it and support future projects.
Last year’s KiltWalk was a great success, and we hope for another strong turnout with generous donations this year.
Team Newton Dee participants can choose between:
- Mighty Stride: 18 miles (Banchory to Duthie Park) – Team Leaders Kristina and Tillmann
- Wee Wander: 4 miles (Cults Academy to Duthie Park) – Team Leader Alan Brown
Consider which distance suits you —18 miles of walking requires experience, stamina and can be challenging. Being part of both groups has been super rewarding last year.
Everybody who completes the walk get a medal
The KiltWalks across Scotland are lively events involving thousands of walkers raising money for over 1,500 charities. Expect a fun atmosphere and positive vibes with entertainment, refreshments, and the occasional blister and maybe a wee rain shower!
Please make sure you are available before sinning-up or offering support on the 7th of June 2026
Wear your Newton Dee T-shirt or hat (available in the Newton Dee Café if you don’t have one already) and a kilt or any kind of tartan you have.
We will come together for a group photo of the “KiltWalk Team – Newton Dee on the 22nd March 3pm on the Village Green behind the Community Centre
